Manage Mental Load

Welcome to the fourth episode of the Switch Off Sessions on The Good Life Well Lived podcast.  In today’s episode we are talking about how to manage the mental load in a pandemic.

I recorded an episode on the mental load in August 2019 and when I was prepping and went back to revisit that episode, I actually laughed out loud.

We thought the mental load was heaving in August 2019!!!

Paaaah! We had NO idea what was coming down the track.

We now have SO much competing for attention in our head and working out how to balance and manage all of it can feel exhausting and a full-time job in itself.

  • The capacity vs capability conundrum and why you MUST accept your capacity bucket exactly as it is for you right now
  • Practical strategies to get all that stuff out of your head and create a constructive plan of action
  • Why it has never been more important to be kind to ourselves and show ourselves grace
